My side projects are divided into two groups, self directed projects I did in the summer between year two and year three, and two character based projects I did throughout the year. 
Summer projects 2023
This project was something I did to keep myself engaged over the summer. It was to re-imagine three children's picture books.

  • Alices Adventures in Wonderland 
This project really impacted the work I did for my main FMP work, as I learnt about book anatomy, how image and text work, visual language and the process from idea to finished piece. 
Character based projects 2023/2024
These projects followed similar briefs, to create or recreate characters from a given word or title prompt. 
  • Mr Men and Little Misses fashion illustrations 
  • 6day character design challenge 
These projects really  helped me develop my use of materials, stylisation as well as explore some subcultures and visual languages Im not too enriched in.
